Extra BEGINNERS' PARTY Night in Reading 08/05
Saturday 8th May 2010
Following on from the success of the Party for Beginners at Newtown primary school on Sat March 6th, there will be another Party Night for Beginners on Saturday 8th May.
Please bring your own water, alcoholic drinks etc - as there is no bar (it's in a primary school).
Please bring food to share (optional)
Don't worry if you are coming to the party on your own - the atmosphere is very friendly.
You will also get the opportunity to learn some Merengue, a cheat of a dance that is based on walking! Very easy to learn, great fun, and a stepping stone to improve your Salsa skills as well!
Newtown school is a listed Victorian building, set in School Terrace - a pretty Victorian street. It is very close to the end of the A329(M), giving quick and easy access from Bracknell.
Dancers of Improver/Intermediate standard and above are welcome to come guests to dance with Beginners.

Own car park at bottom of Cumberland Road i.e. attached to school. Pedestrians should also enter via the car park.
The entrance to the car park is at the very bottom of Cumberland Road on the right - just past the junction with School Terrace.

From Reading Town Centre
Leave Reading town centre along King’s Rd (past College) direction M4. When you get to Cemetery Junction bear left (Co-op will be on your left where the road forks, and the cemetery is ahead/on your right hand side). Take immediate first left into Cumberland Rd (between Mr. Cod and the Stained Glass Window Shop). Carry on to the very bottom of Cumberland Road and turn right - just after passing the junction with School Terrace.

From the M4/Bracknell side on the A329M
Exit M4 Junction 10 joining the A329 direction Reading. Leave the A329M signed “Royal Berks Hospital Accidents & Emergency, Reading East”. At the roundabout take the first exit left into London Road (A4) and under the railway bridge. Take the second right into Cholmeley Road, then take the third left into Amity Street. At the end of Amity Street go first right into Cumberland Road. Go to the very bottom of Cumberland Road and the entrance to the school car park is on the right, just after passing the junction with School Terrace.

Stay on the M4 til Junction 10 then follow directions above.
NB: Look for venue name rather than Red Hat Salsa.
