1. From the IDR
Come off the IDR on the exit just after you see the Hexagon and the 'Yell' building on the right, where the exit is signed 'Station Drop Off Point - Reading West' and 'Garrard Street Car Park'. Take the 3rd turning off the roundabout into Friar Street. Bar Risa is a short way along on the left (just opposite the old Sainsburys).
However, rather than continuing down Friar Street as far as Bar Risa to get to Garrard Street car park, turn first left into Greyfriars Road (at the point where Frair Street narrows to become buses only during the day) and then turn first right into Garrard Street.
2. From the Reading Railway Station
From the roundabout outside the station, take Station Road (which leads out away from the station). Friar Street is the first road you meet, at a cross roads. Turn right into Friar Street and Bar Risa is on your left, just past McDonalds.
